The unbelievers say, 'What, when we are dust, and our fathers, shall we indeed be brought forth? 67 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before. This is not but legends of the former peoples." 68 Say: "Travel in the land and see how (bad) was the end of sinners." 69 (Muhammad), do not be grieved (about their disbelief) nor distressed about their evil plans against you. 70 They say, 'When shall this promise come to pass, if you speak the truth?' 71 Say, "Perhaps it is close behind you - some of that for which you are impatient. 72 Surely thy Lord is bountiful to men; but most of them are not thankful. 73 Lo! thy Lord knoweth surely all that their bosoms hide, and all that they proclaim. 74 And all the hidden secrets of the heavens and the earth are (written) in a clear Book. (The Preserved Tablet) 75 This Quran tells the Israelites most of the matters about which they had disputes among themselves. 76 And lo! it is a guidance and a mercy for believers. 77 Surely, by His Judgement, your Lord will decide between them. He is the Mighty, the Knower. 78 So rely upon Allah; indeed, you are upon the clear truth. 79 Thou shalt not make the dead to hear, neither shalt thou make the deaf to hear the call when they turn about, retreating. 80 just as thou canst not lead the blind [of heart] out of their error; none canst thou make hear save such as [are willing to] believe in Our messages, and thus surrender themselves unto Us. 81 ۞ When God's word is justly carried out against them, We will produce a dabbah from the earth which will tell them that mankind had no real faith in Our signs. 82
