And those who disbelieve say: What! when we have become dust and our fathers (too), shall we certainly be brought forth? 67 We were promised this, forsooth, we and our fathers. (All) this is naught but fables of the men of old. 68 Say: "Go ye through the earth and see what has been the end of those guilty (of sin)." 69 Do not grieve over them, and do not be distressed by what they contrive. 70 And they say: when will this Promise be fufilled if ye say sooth? 71 Say: "The chastisement whose hastening you have been asking for, maybe a part of it has drawn quite near to you." 72 Indeed your Lord is Most Munificent upon mankind, but most men do not give thanks. 73 Verily your Lord knows what lies hidden in their breasts and what they disclose. 74 There is nothing that is hidden - be it in the heaven or the earth - but is recorded in a Clear Book. 75 Surely this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they are at variance; 76 It is a guidance and grace for those who believe. 77 Certainly your Lord will decide between them in His wisdom, He is the Almighty, the All Knowing, 78 Therefore rely on Allah; surely you are on the clear truth. 79 You do not make the dead hear, nor do you make the deaf hear you call when they turn about, retreating. 80 Nor can you be a guide to the blind out of their error; you cannot make to bear (any one) except those who believe in Our communications, so they submit. 81 ۞ And when the word befalls them, We will bring forth for them a creature from the earth speaking to them, [saying] that the people were, of Our verses, not certain [in faith]. 82
