And those who disbelieve say, "When we have become dust as well as our forefathers, will we indeed be brought out [of the graves]? 67 “Indeed this promise was given to us, and before us to our forefathers this is nothing but stories of former people.” 68 Say: "Travel in the land and see how (bad) was the end of sinners." 69 And grieve not for them and be not distressed because of what they plan. 70 They also say: "When will this promise (come to pass)? (Say) if ye are truthful." 71 Say: Maybe there may have drawn near to you somewhat of that which you seek to hasten on. 72 Now, verily, thy Sustainer is indeed limitless in His bounty unto men - but most of them are bereft of gratitude. 73 And indeed, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they declare. 74 There is nothing of the hidden in the heavens and the earth that is not recorded in the luminous Book. 75 Indeed this Qur'an explains to the children of Israel much of what they are at variance. 76 And most surely it is a guidance and a mercy for the believers. 77 Surely thy Lord will decide between them by His Judgment; He is the All-mighty, the All-knowing. 78 So put thy trust in God; thou art upon the manifest truth. 79 Thou shalt not make the dead to hear, neither shalt thou make the deaf to hear the call when they turn about, retreating. 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none hear save these who believe in Our signs and who have submitted themselves. 81 ۞ And when the Word falls on them, We will bring out from the earth a beast that shall speak to them: 'Indeed the people were not certain of Our verses.' 82
