Yet those who disbelieve say: When we have become dust like our fathers, shall we verily be brought forth (again)? 67 "Indeed we were promised this, we and our forefathers before, Verily, these are nothing but tales of ancients." 68 Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of the criminals." 69 (Muhammad), do not be grieved (about their disbelief) nor distressed about their evil plans against you. 70 They ask, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if what you say be true?" 71 Say thou: belike close behind you may be some of that which ye would hasten on. 72 Indeed your Lord is Most Munificent upon mankind, but most men do not give thanks. 73 Verily your Lord knows what lies hidden in their breasts and what they disclose. 74 And there is nothing hidden in the heaven or the earth but it is in a clear Record. 75 Surely this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they are at variance; 76 It is a guidance and a mercy to believers. 77 Surely your Lord in His wisdom will decide between them. He is all-mighty and all-knowing. 78 So put your trust in Allah for you are on the manifest truth. 79 Surely you do not make the dead to hear, and you do not make the deaf to hear the call when they go back retreating. 80 Nor can you lead the blind out of their error, you can only make to hear those who believe in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and who have submitted (themselves to Allah in Islam as Muslims). 81 ۞ When the Word falls on them, We shall bring forth for them out of the earth a beast that shall speak unto them: 'Mankind had no faith in Our signs.' 82
