The unbelievers say: "When we become dust, we and our forefathers, shall we really be brought out (from our graves)? 67 We were promised this, forsooth, we and our fathers. (All) this is naught but fables of the men of old. 68 Say: 'Journey in the land and see what was the end of the sinners' 69 And grieve you not for them, nor be straitened (in distress) because of what they plot. 70 And they (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) say: "When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if you are truthful?" 71 Say, "Perhaps it is close behind you - some of that for which you are impatient. 72 Truly, your Lord is bountiful to mankind, but most of them are not grateful. 73 Verily your Lord knows what lies hidden in their breasts and what they disclose. 74 Nor is there aught of the unseen, in heaven or earth, but is (recorded) in a clear record. 75 BEHOLD, this Qur'an explains to the children of Israel most [of that] whereon they hold divergent views; 76 It is a guide and mercy for the believers. 77 Surely, by His Judgement, your Lord will decide between them. He is the Mighty, the Knower. 78 Wherefore put thy trust in Allah; verily thou art on manifest truth. 79 You do not make the dead hear, nor do you make the deaf hear you call when they turn about, retreating. 80 Nor can you lead the blind when they have gone astray. You can make none hear except those who believe in Our signs and have come to peace and submission. 81 ۞ And when the time for the fulfilment of Our Word against them will come, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth who will speak to them because people did not believe in Our Signs. 82
