The unbelievers say: "When we become dust, we and our forefathers, shall we really be brought out (from our graves)? 67 Assuredly we have been promised this aforetime, we and our fathers. Naught is this but fables of the ancients. 68 “Proclaim, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “Travel in the land and see what sort of fate befell the guilty.” 69 Do not sorrow for them, nor be thou straitened for what they devise. 70 They ask, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if what you say be true?" 71 Say: Maybe there may have drawn near to you somewhat of that which you seek to hasten on. 72 Your Lord has many favors for mankind but most of them are ungrateful. 73 And verily, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they reveal. 74 And naught there is hidden in the heaven or the earth but it is in a Manifest Book. 75 Verily, this Quran narrates to the Children of Israel most of that about which they differ. 76 And it certainly is a Guide and a Mercy to those who believe. 77 Surely, by His Judgement, your Lord will decide between them. He is the Mighty, the Knower. 78 So rely upon Allah; indeed, you are upon the clear truth. 79 Truly thou canst not cause the dead to listen, nor canst thou cause the deaf to hear the call, (especially) when they turn back in retreat. 80 Nor can you be a guide to the blind out of their error; you cannot make to bear (any one) except those who believe in Our communications, so they submit. 81 ۞ When God's word is justly carried out against them, We will produce a dabbah from the earth which will tell them that mankind had no real faith in Our signs. 82
