The Spider (Al-Ankaboot)
69 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Romans (Al-Room) before The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 Do people think that they will be let go merely by saying: “We believe,” and that they will not be tested, 2 But We have certainly tried those before them, and Allah will surely make evident those who are truthful, and He will surely make evident the liars. 3 Do those who practise evil think that they will get the better of Us? Evil is their judgment! 4 He who hopes to meet God (should know) that God's appointed time will surely come. He is all-hearing and all-knowing. 5 And whoever strives, strives only for himself, God is independent of all His creation, 6 We shall expiate the sins of the righteously striving believers and shall reward them better than their deeds. 7 We have advised the human being, "Be kind to your parents. Do not obey them if they force you to consider equal to Me things which you do not know are such." You will all return (to Me) and I shall show all that you have done. 8 And those who accepted faith and did good deeds – We shall indeed include them among the virtuous. 9 Now there is among men many a one who says [of himself and of others like him,] "We do believe in God" - but whenever he is made to suffer in God's cause, he thinks that persecution at the hands of man is as [much to be feared, or even more than,] God's chastisement; whereas, if succour from thy Sustainer comes [to those who truly believe] he is sure to say: "Behold, we have always been with you!" Is not God fully aware of what is in the hearts of all creatures? 10 And Allah will surely make evident those who believe, and He will surely make evident the hypocrites. 11 The unbelievers say to those who believe: 'Follow our path, and we will carry your sins' Yet they cannot carry even a thing of their sins. They are surely lying. 12 Besides the other burdens that they will have to carry, they will certainly be loaded with the burden of their own sins. They will be questioned on the Day of Judgment about what they had falsely invented. 13

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
