We sent Noah to his people, and he lived with them a thousand years minus fifty. Then they were caught by the deluge for they were evil. 14 And We rescued him and the people aboard the ship, and made the ship a sign for the entire world. 15 And Abraham, when he said to his people, 'Serve God, and fear Him; that is better for you, did you know. 16 You only worship idols besides Allah and you create a lie surely they whom you serve besides Allah do not control for you any sustenance, therefore seek the sustenance from Allah and serve Him and be grateful to Him; to Him you shall be brought back. 17 And if you give the lie (to the Messenger), then many nations before you also gave the lie (to their Messengers). The Messenger is charged with no other duty than to deliver the Message in clear terms.” 18 See they not how Allah originates creation, then repeats it: truly that is easy for Allah. 19 Say: "Travel in the land and see how (Allah) originated creation, and then Allah will bring forth (resurrect) the creation of the Hereafter (i.e. resurrection after death). Verily, Allah is Able to do all things." 20 Punish whom He will, and have mercy on whom He please. And to Him will you be brought back in the end. 21 You cannot overpower Allah, neither on the earth nor in the heaven. None can protect you from Allah nor come to your aid against Him. 22
