Al-Ankaboot 2 of 7

We did indeed send Noah to his people and he lived among them a thousand years save fifty. Eventually the Flood overtook them while they were engaged in wrongdoing. 14 And We rescued him and those with him in the ship, and made of it a portent for the peoples. 15 And We sent Ibrahim. Recall what time he said unto his people: worship Allah, and fear Him; that is best for you if ye but knew. 16 You worship idols besides God and fabricate falsehoods. Those whom you worship besides God have no power to provide sustenance for you. So seek your sustenance from God and worship Him and be grateful to Him, for to Him you shall return. 17 If you, (pagans), call our (revelations) lies, certainly many generations living before you have also done the same thing. The duty of a Messenger is only to preach clearly. 18 See they not how Allah originates creation, then repeats it. Verily, that is easy for Allah. 19 Say: "Travel through the earth and see how Allah did originate creation; so will Allah produce a later creation: for Allah has power over all things. 20 He chastises whom He will and forgives whom He will. To Him all of you will be sent back. 21 Escape Him you cannot either in the earth or in the sky; and you have no friend or helper apart from God. 22
