Say [unto those who will not believe]: "God is witness enough between me and you! He knows all that is in the heavens and on earth; and they who are bent on believing in what is false and vain, and thus on denying God - it is they, they who shall be the losers!" 52 They ask you to hasten the punishment. Had there not been an appointed time for it, the punishment would already have come to them. Indeed it will come down upon them suddenly and catch them unawares. 53 They ask thee to hasten on the Punishment: but, of a surety, Hell will encompass the Rejecters of Faith!- 54 On the Day the punishment shall cover them from above them and from beneath their feet, He shall say: 'Taste now what you were doing' 55 O My bondmen who believe! Indeed My earth is spacious – therefore worship Me alone. 56 Every soul will taste of death. Then unto Us ye will be returned. 57 And those who believe and work righteous works - them We shall surely settle in lofty dwellings of the Garden whereunder the rivers flow; they shall be abiders therein. Excellent is the hire of the workers. 58 Those who persevere in patience, and put their trust, in their Lord and Cherisher. 59 And how many an animal there is that beareth not its own provision! Allah provideth for it and for you. He is the Hearer, the Knower. 60 And if thou wert to ask them: Who created the heavens and the earth, and constrained the sun and the moon (to their appointed work)? they would say: Allah. How then are they turned away? 61 God outspreads and straitens His provision to whomsoever He will of His servants; God has knowledge of everything. 62 And if you ask them Who is it that sends down water from the clouds, then gives life to the earth with it after its death, they will certainly say, Allah. Say: All praise is due to Allah. Nay, most of them do not understand. 63
