Say, "God is sufficient as a witness between me and you. He knows all that is in the heavens and the earth." Those who have faith in falsehood and disbelieve in God are certainly lost. 52 They ask you to hasten in bringing chastisement upon them. Had there not been an appointed term for it, the chastisement would have already visited them; in fact it will come down upon them all of a sudden (at its appointed time) while they will not be aware of it. 53 They bid thee hasten on the doom, when lo! hell verily will encompass the disbelievers 54 The day the punishment comes upon them from above and underneath their feet, (God will) say: "And now taste of what you had done." 55 O My creatures who believe, surely My earth has plenty of scope and so worship only Me. 56 Every human being is bound to taste death, [and] in the end unto Us shall all be brought back: 57 We shall admit those who believe and do the right to empyreal gardens with rivers rippling by, where they will abide for ever. How excellent the guerdon of those who toil, 58 and who are steadfast and put their trust in their Lord. 59 There are many living creatures which do not carry their sustenance, but God provides them and you with sustenance. He is All-hearing and All-knowing. 60 If you ask them: "Who created the heavens and the earth, and who set the sun and the moon to work?" They will answer: "God." Why then do they vacillate? 61 Allah expandeth provision for whomsoever He will of His bondmen and stinteth it for him. Verily Allah is of everything the Knower. 62 And if you ask them who it is that sends down water from the sky and revives the earth with it after its death, they will surely answer, "God." Then praise be to God. But most of them do not understand. 63
