Corruption doth appear on land and sea because of (the evil) which men's hands have done, that He may make them taste a part of that which they have done, in order that they may return. 41 Say, "Journey through the land, and see how those before you met their end -- most of them, ascribed partners with God." 42 So turn your face exclusively towards the True Faith before there comes the Day whose coming from Allah cannot be averted, the Day when people will split into groups. 43 Those who rejected the truth will bear the burden of that rejection, and those who did good deeds will have made good provision for themselves. 44 That He may reward those who believe and work righteous deeds, out of his Bounty. For He loves not those who reject Faith. 45 Among His signs are the breezes He sends as harbingers of happy news, so that He may allow you to taste of His mercy, and that ships may sail by His command, and you may seek of His bounty, and may haply be grateful. 46 And certainly We sent before you apostles to their people, so they came to them with clear arguments, then We gave the punishment to those who were guilty; and helping the believers is ever incumbent on Us. 47 Allah is he Who sends forth the winds so they raise a cloud, then He spreads it forth in the sky as He pleases, and He breaks it up so that you see the rain coming forth from inside it; then when He causes it to fall upon whom He pleases of His servants, lo! they are joyful 48 Although they were, before it was sent down upon them - before that, in despair. 49 Look at the traces of the mercy of God, how He has revived the dead earth. God revives the dead; He has power over all things. 50 Even if We had sent the wind and caused (the plants) to turn yellow and to fade away, they would still have remained in disbelief. 51 So verily, you (O Muhammad SAW) cannot make the dead to hear (i.e. the disbelievers, etc.), nor can you make the deaf to hear the call, when they show their backs, turning away. 52 You cannot guide the straying blind. You can make no one listen except those who believe in Our revelations and are Muslims. 53
