Corruption has appeared on land and sea with what the hands of the people earned. Therefore, they taste some of what they did in order that they return. 41 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Travel in the land and see what was the end of those before (you)! Most of them were Mushrikun (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, idolaters, etc.)." 42 Therefore set your attention for worshipping, before the day from Allah which cannot be averted – on that day people will be split, separated. 43 Whosoever disbelieveth, on him is his infidelity, and those who work righteously are preparing for themselves. 44 That He may reward those who believe and do good out of His grace; surely He does not love the unbelievers. 45 Some evidence of His existence is His sending the glad-news-bearing winds so that He would let you to receive His mercy, cause the ships to sail by His command, and let you seek His favor so that perhaps you would give Him thanks. 46 And We have already sent messengers before you to their peoples, and they came to them with clear evidences; then We took retribution from those who committed crimes, and incumbent upon Us was support of the believers. 47 God is He that looses the winds, that stir up clouds; and He spreads them in heaven how He will, and shatters them; then thou seest the rain issuing out of the midst of them, and when He smites with it whomsoever of His servants He will, lo, they rejoice, 48 Even though, before they received (the rain) - just before this - they were dumb with despair! 49 See, then, the tokens of Allah's Mercy: how He revives the earth after it is dead. Verily He is the One Who will revive the dead. He has power over everything. 50 But thus it is: if We send a wind [that scorches their land,] and they see it turn yellow, they begin, after that [erstwhile joy,] to deny the truth [of Our almightiness and grace]! 51 So verily thou canst not make the dead hear, nor canst thou make the deaf hear the call when they turn away in flight. 52 just as you cannot lead the blind [of heart] out of their error, you cannot make anyone hear your call save those who are willing to believe in Our revelations, and thus surrender themselves to Us and are submissive to Our will. 53
