Have you not seen that God has subjugated what is in the heavens and the earth to you, and bestowed His favours, external and esoteric, in abundance on you? And yet there are men who contend about God without any knowledge or guidance or the Book enlightening. 20 And when it is said to them, "Follow what Allah has revealed," they say, "Rather, we will follow that upon which we found our fathers." Even if Satan was inviting them to the punishment of the Blaze? 21 ۞ Whoever submits himself to the will of God in righteousness has certainly achieved a strong-hold. The end of all things is in the hands of God. 22 And whoever has disbelieved - let not his disbelief grieve you. To Us is their return, and We will inform them of what they did. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of that within the breasts. 23 We will let them enjoy themselves for a short while - but in the end We shall drive them into suffering severe. 24 And if you asked them, "Who created the heavens and earth?" they would surely say, "Allah." Say, "[All] praise is [due] to Allah "; but most of them do not know. 25 Allah's is whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth. Verily Allah! He is the Self-Sufficient, the Praiseworthy. 26 If all the trees of the earth were pens and the oceans ink, with many more oceans for replenishing them, the colloquy of God would never come to end. He is indeed all-mighty and all-wise. 27 And your creation or your resurrection is in no wise but as an individual soul: for Allah is He Who hears and sees (all things). 28 Have you not seen that God makes the night pass into the day, and makes the day pass into the night, and that He has pressed the sun and the moon into His service, each pursuing its course for an appointed term, and that God is well aware of what you do? 29 That is because Allah, He is the Truth, and that which they invoke besides Him is Al-Batil (falsehood, Satan and all other false deities), and that Allah, He is the Most High, the Most Great. 30
