We verily gave Moses the Scripture; so be not ye in doubt of his receiving it; and We appointed it a guidance for the Children of Israel. 23 We appointed leaders from among them, guiding by Our command when they were steadfast and when they had firm faith in Our signs. 24 Surely thy Lord will distinguish between them on the Resurrection Day, touching that whereon they were at variance. 25 Is it not a guidance for them, how many generations We have destroyed before them in whose dwellings they do walk about? Verily, therein indeed are signs. Would they not then listen? 26 Do they not see how We drive the water to the parched lands and bring forth therefrom crops from which their cattle and themselves eat? Will they not see! 27 And they say: When cometh this victory (of yours) if ye are truthful? 28 Say (unto them): On the day of the victory the faith of those who disbelieve (and who then will believe) will not avail them, neither will they be reprieved. 29 So turn away from them and wait. Indeed, they are waiting. 30
