O ye who believe! Remember Allah with much remembrance. 41 And sing His praises morning and evening. 42 He it is Who sends Salat (His blessings) on you, and His angels too (ask Allah to bless and forgive you), that He may bring you out from darkness (of disbelief and polytheism) into light (of Belief and Islamic Monotheism). And He is Ever Most Merciful to the believers. 43 Their salutation on the day that they meet Him shall be, Peace, and He has prepared for them an honourable reward. 44 O Prophet! Truly We have sent thee as a Witness, a Bearer of Glad Tidings, and Warner,- 45 And as a caller towards Allah, by His command, and as a sun that enlightens. (The Holy Prophet is a light from Allah.) 46 Give glad tidings to the believers that there is great bounty for them from God. 47 Do not yield to the unbelievers and the hypocrites, and disregard the hurt that comes from them, and put your trust in Allah. Allah suffices as the Guardian to entrust one's affairs to. 48 Believers, when you marry believing women and then divorce them before you have touched them, you may not require them to observe a waiting period that you might reckon against them. So make provision for them and release them in an honourable manner. 49 Prophet, We have made lawful for you your wives whom you have given their dowry, slave girls whom God has given to you as gifts, the daughters of your uncles and aunts, both paternal and maternal, who have migrated with you. The believing woman, who has offered herself to the Prophet and whom the Prophet may want to marry, will be specially for him, not for other believers. We knew what to make obligatory for them concerning their wives and slave girls so that you would face no hardship (because we have given distinction to you over the believers). God is All-forgiving and All-merciful. 50 ۞ [know that] thou mayest put off for a time whichever of them thou pleasest, and mayest take unto thee whichever thou pleasest; and [that,] if thou seek out any from whom thou hast kept away [for a time,] thou wilt incur no sin [thereby]: this will make it more likely that their eyes are gladdened [whenever they see thee,] and that they do not grieve [whenever they are overlooked,] and that all of them may find contentment in whatever thou hast to give them: for God [alone] knows what is in your hearts - and God is indeed all-knowing, forbearing. 51 Thereafter women are not lawful to thee, neither for thee to take other wives in exchange for them, though their beauty please thee, except what thy right hand owns; God is watchful over everything. 52
