Believers, remember God very often 41 And glorify His Praises morning and afternoon [the early morning (Fajr) and 'Asr prayers]. 42 He it is Who sends His blessings on you, and (so do) His angels, that He may bring you forth out of utter darkness into the light; and He is Merciful to the believers. 43 Their salutation on the day when they shall meet Him will be: Peace. And He hath prepared for them a goodly recompense. 44 O Prophet! Lo! We have sent thee as a witness and a bringer of good tidings and a warner. 45 And as a summoner unto Allah by His permission, and as a lamp that giveth light. 46 Convey to the believers the good news that God has bounteous blessings in store for them. 47 And do not obey the disbelievers and the hypocrites but do not harm them, and rely upon Allah. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs. 48 Believers, when you marry believing women and then divorce them before you have touched them, you may not require them to observe a waiting period that you might reckon against them. So make provision for them and release them in an honourable manner. 49 O Prophet! We have made lawful to thee thy wives to whom thou hast paid their dowers; and those whom thy right hand possesses out of the prisoners of war whom Allah has assigned to thee; and daughters of thy paternal uncles and aunts, and daughters of thy maternal uncles and aunts, who migrated (from Makka) with thee; and any believing woman who dedicates her soul to the Prophet if the Prophet wishes to wed her;- this only for thee, and not for the Believers (at large); We know what We have appointed for them as to their wives and the captives whom their right hands possess;- in order that there should be no difficulty for thee. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 50 ۞ [know that] thou mayest put off for a time whichever of them thou pleasest, and mayest take unto thee whichever thou pleasest; and [that,] if thou seek out any from whom thou hast kept away [for a time,] thou wilt incur no sin [thereby]: this will make it more likely that their eyes are gladdened [whenever they see thee,] and that they do not grieve [whenever they are overlooked,] and that all of them may find contentment in whatever thou hast to give them: for God [alone] knows what is in your hearts - and God is indeed all-knowing, forbearing. 51 It is not lawful for you to marry more women after this, nor to change them for other wives, even though their beauty may please you, except any that your right hand possesses. God is watchful over all things. 52
