O Prophet! Command your wives and your daughters and the women of the Muslims to cover their faces with a part of their cloaks; this is closer to their being recognised and not being harassed; and Allah is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful. (It is incumbent upon women to cover themselves properly.) 59 ۞ If the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is disease and those who spread rumors in al-Madinah do not cease, We will surely incite you against them; then they will not remain your neighbors therein except for a little. 60 cursed they shalt be, and wheresoever they are come upon they shall be seized and slaughtered all -- 61 This has been Allah's Way with those who have gone before, and you shall find no change in Allah's Way. 62 The people will question thee concerning the Hour. Say: 'The knowledge of it is only with God; what shall make thee know? Haply the Hour is nigh.' 63 God has rejected those who deny the truth and prepared for them a blazing Fire. 64 Abiding therein forever, they will not find a protector or a helper. 65 On the day when their faces will be overturned being roasted inside the fire, they will say, “Alas – if only we had obeyed Allah and obeyed His Noble Messenger!” 66 They will say: "O our Lord, we obeyed our leaders and the elders, but they only led us astray. 67 Lord, make them to suffer double torment and subject them to the greatest condemnation." 68
