O Prophet! Tell thy wives and daughters, and the believing women, that they should cast their outer garments over their persons (when abroad): that is most convenient, that they should be known (as such) and not molested. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 59 ۞ If the hypocrites and those in whose hearts there is a sickness, and the scandal mongers in Madinah do not desist from their vile acts, We shall urge you to take action against them, and then they will hardly be able to stay in the city with you. 60 cursed they shalt be, and wheresoever they are come upon they shall be seized and slaughtered all -- 61 (Such was) the practice (approved) of Allah among those who lived aforetime: No change wilt thou find in the practice (approved) of Allah. 62 Men ask you about the hour; say: The knowledge of it is only with Allah, and what will make you comprehend that the hour may be nigh. 63 Verily, God has rejected the deniers of the truth, and has readied for them a blazing fire, 64 Abiders therein they shall be forever, and they shall find neither a protecting friend nor a helper. 65 On the day when their faces shall be turned back into the fire, they shall say: O would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Apostle! 66 They shall say, 'Our Lord, we obeyed our chiefs and great ones, and they led us astray from the way. 67 Our Lord! Oh, give them double torment and curse them with a mighty curse. 68
