۞ Say: 'I give you but one admonition, that you stand unto God, two by two and one by one, and then reflect: no madness is in your comrade. He is naught but a warner unto you, before a terrible chastisement.' 46 Say, "Whatever reward I ask you (for my preaching) will be for your own good. No one can reward me except God. He is the Witness over all things." 47 Say: "My Lord casts the truth: He is the knower of things unknown." 48 Say to them, "The Truth has come and will endure. Falsehood has no power to originate any good, nor to reproduce it." 49 Say, "If I should err, I would only err against myself. But if I am guided, it is by what my Lord reveals to me. Indeed, He is Hearing and near." 50 If you could see when they are gripped by terror without any escape, and are seized from close at hand 51 and then they will say, "We have faith in the Quran." How can they have any faith when they are far away from this world. 52 When they disbelieved in it of yore. They aim at the unseen from afar off. 53 A gulf will exist between them and their desires on the Day of Judgment like the similar people who lived before. They, too, had lived in doubt and uncertainty (about the life hereafter). 54
