۞ O men! It is you who stand in need of God -- God is self-sufficient, and praiseworthy -- 15 He could replace you by a new creation if He decided to. 16 This would not cost God dear at all. 17 No one will bear the burden of another. Even if an overburdened soul should ask another to bear a part of his burden, no one, not even a relative, will do so. (Muhammad), you can only warn those who have fear of their Lord without seeing Him and who are steadfast in prayer. Whoever purifies himself, does so for his own good. To God do all things return. 18 And the blind and the seeing are not alike 19 nor are darkness and light. 20 Nor shade and heat of sunshine. 21 nor are the living and the dead equal. Allah makes to hear whosoever He will, but you cannot make those who are in their graves hear. 22 thou art nothing but a warner. 23 Verily, We have sent thee with the truth, as a bearer of glad tidings and a warner: for there never was any community but a warner has [lived and] passed away in its midst. 24 If they reject you, so did their predecessors. Messengers came to them with clear signs, with scriptures, and with the enlightening Book, 25 Then seized I those who disbelieved, and how intense was My abhorrence! 26
