۞ O men, it is you who stand in need of God. As for God, He is above all need, worthy of praise. 15 If He will, He can be rid of you and bring (instead of you) some new creation. 16 that is surely no great matter for God. 17 And a burdened soul cannot bear the burden of another and if one weighed down by burden should cry for (another to carry) its burden, not aught of it shall be carried, even though he be near of kin. You warn only those who fear their Lord in secret and keep up prayer; and whoever purifies himself, he purifies himself only for (the good of) his own soul; and to Allah is the eventual coming. 18 Not equal are the blind and the seeing, 19 the shadows and the light, 20 Nor the shade and the sun's heat. 21 nor are the living and the dead. God makes to listen whomever He wants. (Muhammad), you cannot make people in the graves to listen. 22 You (Prophet Muhammad) are but a warner. 23 Surely We have sent thee with the truth good tidings to bear, and warning; not a nation there is, but there has passed away in it a warner. 24 And if they call you a liar, so did those before them indeed call (their apostles) liars; their apostles had come to them with clear arguments, and with scriptures, and with the illuminating book. 25 then I seized the unbelievers, and how was My horror! 26
