۞ O people, it is you who stand in need of Allah; as for Allah, He is Self-Sufficient, Immensely Praiseworthy. 15 He could replace you by a new creation if He decided to. 16 That surely is not difficult for Allah. 17 And no burdened soul can bear another's burden, and if one heavy laden crieth for (help with) his load, naught of it will be lifted even though he (unto whom he crieth) be of kin. Thou warnest only those who fear their Lord in secret, and have established worship. He who groweth (in goodness), groweth only for himself, (he cannot by his merit redeem others). Unto Allah is the journeying. 18 The blind man is not equal with the seer; 19 Nor the darkness and the light, 20 Nor shade and heat of sunshine. 21 nor are the living and the dead equal. Allah makes to hear whosoever He will, but you cannot make those who are in their graves hear. 22 thou art nothing but a warner. 23 Verily! We have sent you with the truth, a bearer of glad tidings, and a warner. And there never was a nation but a warner had passed among them. 24 If they give the lie to you now, those that went before them also gave the lie to their Messengers when they came to them with Clear Proofs, with Scriptures, and with the Illuminating Book. 25 In the end did I punish those who rejected Faith: and how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)! 26
