In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Ya'. Sin. 1 Consider this Qur'an full of wisdom: 2 you are truly among the Messengers, 3 On a straight path, 4 This is a revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware. 6 The Word is proved true against the greater part of them: for they do not believe. 7 We have bound their necks with fetters up to their chin, so that their heads are raised and cannot be lowered. 8 We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and, We have covered them so that they do not see. 9 It is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them for they shall not believe. 10 Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 11 Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register. 12
