Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I swear by Ya Sin 1 I swear by the Quran full of wisdom 2 Verily thou art of the sent ones, 3 upon the straight path. 4 A revelation from the mighty, ever-merciful (God), 5 so that you may warn a people who are unaware because their fathers were not warned. 6 The Phrase has become obligatory upon most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 And We have put a barrier before them, and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up, so that they cannot see. 9 And it is the same for them, whether you warn them or do not warn them – they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who listens to the warning and fears Ar-Rahman secretly. So give him good news of forgiveness and a generous reward. 11 We shall surely bring the dead back to life and We record what they send ahead and what they leave behind. We have recorded everything in a clear book. 12
