Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Ya Seen. 1 By the wise Qur'an, 2 You (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) are indeed one of the Noble Messengers. 3 and that you follow the right path. 4 This is a revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 so that you may warn a people whose ancestors were not warned before wherefore they are heedless. 6 Undoubtedly, it (their disbelief) has proved true for most of them, so they will not believe. 7 Lo! We have put on their necks carcans reaching unto the chins, so that they are made stiff-necked. 8 and We have put a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and have covered them up, so they are unable to see. 9 The same is it to them whether thou admonish them or thou do not admonish them: they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the reminder and fears the Beneficent Allah in secret; so announce to him forgiveness and an honorable reward. 11 Verily We! We shall quicken the dead. And We write down that which they send before and their footsteps. And everything We have counted up in a Book luminous. 12
