Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ya, Seen. 1 I swear by the Quran full of wisdom 2 Most surely you are one of the apostles 3 On a right way. 4 The sending down of the Mighty, the Most Merciful 5 So that you may warn these people whose ancestors were not warned, they are therefore unaware. 6 Already hath the judgment, (for their infidelity) proved true of most of them, for they believe not. 7 Verily! We have put on their necks iron collars reaching to chins, so that their heads are forced up. 8 And We have put a bar in front of them and a bar behind them, and further, We have covered them up; so that they cannot see. 9 And it is alike to them whether you warn them or warn them not: they do not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the reminder and fears the Beneficent Allah in secret; so announce to him forgiveness and an honorable reward. 11 We shall surely bring the dead back to life and We record what they send ahead and what they leave behind. We have recorded everything in a clear book. 12
