Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 By the Qur'an full of wisdom. 2 That you are indeed one of those sent 3 on a straight path, 4 (The Qur’an is) Sent down by the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 5 So that you may warn these people whose ancestors were not warned, they are therefore unaware. 6 The Phrase has become obligatory upon most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 We have set-up a barrier in front of and behind them and have made them blind. Thus, they cannot see. 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 11 Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence). 12
