Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya-Sin. 1 By oath of the wise Qur’an. 2 Indeed you, [O Muhammad], are from among the messengers, 3 On the Straight Path. 4 with a revelation sent down by the Mighty One, the Merciful, 5 [bestowed upon thee] so that thou mayest warn people whose forefathers had not been warned, and who therefore are unaware [of the meaning of right and wrong]. 6 Undoubtedly, it (their disbelief) has proved true for most of them, so they will not believe. 7 Verily! We have put on their necks iron collars reaching to chins, so that their heads are forced up. 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up so that they cannot see. 9 And it is the same for them, whether you warn them or do not warn them – they will not believe. 10 Thou only warnest him who follows the Remembrance and who fears the All-merciful in the Unseen; so give him the good tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 Lo! We it is Who bring the dead to life. We record that which they send before (them, and their footprints. And all things We have kept in a clear Register. 12
