Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
O THOU human being! 1 By the Qur'an full of wisdom. 2 you (Prophet Muhammad) are truly among the Messengers sent 3 On a Straight Way. 4 the sending down of the All-mighty, the All-wise, 5 so that you may warn a people who are unaware because their fathers were not warned. 6 Certainly the word has proved true of most of them, so they do not believe. 7 Surely We have placed chains on their necks, and these reach up to their chins, so they have their heads raised aloft. 8 And We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier and covered them, so they do not see. 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 You can only warn him who follows the reminder and fears the Beneficent Allah in secret; so announce to him forgiveness and an honorable reward. 11 It is We indeed who bring back the dead to life, and write down what they send ahead (of their deeds), and traces that they leave behind. We keep an account of all things in a lucid register. 12
