Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 I swear by the Quran full of wisdom 2 you (Prophet Muhammad) are truly among the Messengers sent 3 On a straight path. 4 [This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned and so they are unaware. 6 Certainly the word has proved true of most of them, so they do not believe. 7 We have put fetters around their necks which reach up to their chins so that they are standing with their heads upright, 8 And We have made before them a barrier and a barrier behind them, then We have covered them over so that they do not see. 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 11 Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence). 12
