In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Ya-Sin. 1 By the wise Qur'an. 2 That you are indeed one of those sent 3 On a Straight Way. 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 In order that you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Surely most of them merit the decree of chastisement; so they do not believe. 7 Verily We have placed on their necks shackles which are up to the chins; so that their heads are forced up. 8 And We shall raise a barrier in front of them and a barrier behind them, and cover them over so that they will not be able to see. 9 And it is the same for them, whether you warn them or do not warn them – they will not believe. 10 Thou only warnest him who follows the Remembrance and who fears the All-merciful in the Unseen; so give him the good tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register. 12
