Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Ya Seen. 1 By the Wise Koran, 2 you (Prophet Muhammad) are truly among the Messengers sent 3 pursuing a straight way 4 (and this Qur'an) is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate 5 That thou mayst warn a folk whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 The word has been proved true against the greater part of them: they will not believe. 7 We have enchained their necks up to their chins. Thus, they cannot bend their heads (to find their way). 8 And We have placed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier, so We have covered them, so that they see not. 9 Whether you warn them or not, they will not believe. 10 You can warn only those who would follow the Reminder and fear the Gracious God, unseen. Give them the good news of forgiveness and a noble reward. 11 Surely, it is We who revive the dead and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; We have counted everything in a Clear Book. 12
