Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
O THOU human being! 1 By the wise Qur'an. 2 you (Prophet Muhammad) are truly among the Messengers sent 3 On a right way. 4 This is a revelation sent down from the Majestic and All-merciful 5 In order that thou mayest admonish a people, whose fathers had received no admonition, and who therefore remain heedless (of the Signs of Allah). 6 Already hath the judgment, (for their infidelity) proved true of most of them, for they believe not. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up (and they cannot see). 8 and We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier; and We have covered them, so they do not see. 9 The same is it to them whether thou admonish them or thou do not admonish them: they will not believe. 10 You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. 11 It is We indeed who bring back the dead to life, and write down what they send ahead (of their deeds), and traces that they leave behind. We keep an account of all things in a lucid register. 12
