And a sign for them is the dead land. We gave it life, and We brought forth from it grains, so that they eat thereof. 33 And We placed therein gardens of palm trees and grapevines and caused to burst forth therefrom some springs - 34 so that they may eat its fruit, though it was not their hands that made this. Will they not then be grateful? 35 Hallowed be He who hath created all the pairs of that which the earth groweth, and of themselves and of that which they know not! 36 Of the signs for them is how We separated the day from the night and thus they remained in darkness; 37 And the sun runneth on unto a resting-place for him. That is the measuring of the Mighty, the Wise. 38 And the moon, We have determined it in phases till it returns like an old palmbranch. 39 how the sun is not supposed to catch-up with the moon, nor is the night to precede the day. All of them are to float in a certain orbit; 40 And a token unto them is that We bear their offspring in the laden ship, 41 And We have created for them the like of it, what they will ride on. 42 and if We will, We drown them, then none have they to cry to, neither are they delivered, 43 Unless by mercy from Us, and as a comfort for a while. 44 And when it is said unto them: fear that which is before you and that which is behind you, that haply ye may find mercy, they withdraw. 45 Not a Sign comes to them from among the Signs of their Lord, but they turn away therefrom. 46 And when it is said to them: Spend out of what Allah has given you, those who disbelieve say to those who believe: Shall we feed him whom, if Allah please, He could feed? You are in naught but clear error. 47 The unbelievers say, "When will the Day of Judgment come if what you say is at all true?" 48 They must be waiting for but one single blast, which will overtake them while they are still disputing. 49 And they will not be able to make a disposition, nor to their family they return. 50
