And the Trumpet shall be blown; then behold, they are sliding down from their tombs unto their Lord. 51 They will say, "O woe to us! Who has raised us up from our sleeping place?" [The reply will be], "This is what the Most Merciful had promised, and the messengers told the truth." 52 It will not be but one blast, and at once they are all brought present before Us. 53 So this day no soul shall be dealt with unjustly in the least; and you shall not be rewarded aught but that which you did. 54 The people of Paradise shall be happily occupied on that Day, 55 in happiness will they and their spouses on couches recline; 56 [only] delight will there be for them, and theirs shall be all that they could ask for: 57 Peace, a saying from the Most Merciful Lord. 58 But avaunt ye, O ye guilty, this day! 59 ۞ Did I not commit you, O children of Adam, not to worship Satan who is your acknowledged foe, 60 "And that ye should worship Me, (for that) this was the Straight Way? 61 And he had already led astray from among you much of creation, so did you not use reason? 62 This is the Hellfire which you were promised. 63 endure it today as an outcome of your persistent denial of the truth!" 64 Today We shall seal up their mouths and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will bear witness to their misdeeds. 65 NOW HAD IT BEEN Our will [that men should not be able to discern between right and wrong,] We could surely have deprived them of their sight, so that they would stray forever from the [right] way: for how could they have had insight [into what is true]? 66 Had it been Our will We would have transmuted them (into monkeys, pigs and stones) where they were, so that they could neither go forward nor yet return. 67
