But [let them always remember that] if We lengthen a human being's days, We also cause him to decline in his powers [when he grows old]: will they not, then, use their reason? 68 We did not teach him (Muhammad) poetry, nor was he supposed to be a poet. It is only the word (of God) and the illustrious Quran 69 that he may warn whosoever is living, and that the Word may be realized against the unbelievers. 70 Do they not see that We have created for them from what Our hands have made, grazing livestock, and [then] they are their owners? 71 and that We have subjected them to men's will, so that some of them they may use for riding and of some they may eat, 72 And they derive other advantages and drinks from them. Even then they do not offer thanks, 73 Yet they have taken, apart from God, gods; haply they might be helped. 74 They will not be able to help them and will be brought (to Us) as their levied troops. 75 Muhammad, let not their words annoy you. We certainly know whatever they conceal or reveal. 76 Has the human being not considered that We have created him from a drop of fluid. He is openly quarrelsome. 77 And he presents for Us an example and forgets his [own] creation. He says, "Who will give life to bones while they are disintegrated?" 78 Say: 'He shall quicken them, who originated them the first time; He knows all creation, 79 Who hath appointed for you fire from the green tree, and behold! ye kindle from it. 80 Is not He, Who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the like of them? Yes, indeed! He is the All-Knowing Supreme Creator. 81 And His only task when He intends a thing is to command it, “Be” – and it thereupon happens! 82 Therefore glory be to Him in Whose hand is the kingdom of all things, and to Him you shall be brought back. 83
