And to whomsoever We give long life, We bend him over in His constitution; what, do they not understand? 68 We did not teach him (Muhammad) poetry, nor was he supposed to be a poet. It is only the word (of God) and the illustrious Quran 69 that he may warn whosoever is living, and that the Word may be realized against the unbelievers. 70 Have they not seen what We have created from the labor of Our own hands? We have given them cattle. 71 We have subdued them to them, and some of them they ride, and some they eat; 72 and may have [yet other] benefits from them, and [milk] to drink? Will they not, then, be grateful? 73 And yet they have taken gods, other than Allah, so that they might be helped! 74 They cannot help them, though they be hosts made ready for them. 75 So let not their speech, then, grieve you (O Muhammad SAW). Verily, We know what they conceal and what they reveal. 76 Hath not man seen that We have created him from a drop of seed? Yet lo! he is an open opponent. 77 And he hath coined for Us a similitude, and hath forgotten the fact of his creation, saying: Who will revive these bones when they have rotted away? 78 Say thou: He shall quicken them Who brought them forth for the first time, and He is of every kind of creation the Knower! 79 Who giveth you out of the green tree fire, and lo! ye kindle therewith. 80 Is He who created the heavens and earth not able to create others like these people? Of course He is! He is indeed the Supreme Creator, the All Knowing: 81 And His only task when He intends a thing is to command it, “Be” – and it thereupon happens! 82 Wherefore hallowed be He in whose hand is the governance of everything, and unto whom ye shall be returned. 83
