But [let them always remember that] if We lengthen a human being's days, We also cause him to decline in his powers [when he grows old]: will they not, then, use their reason? 68 And We have not taught him (Muhammad) poetry, nor is it meet for him. This is naught else than a Reminder and a Lecture making plain, 69 to the end that it may warn everyone who is alive [of heart,] and that the word [of God] may bear witness against all who deny the truth. 70 Have they not seen how that We have created for them of that Our hands wrought cattle that they own? 71 We have subdued them to them, and some of them they ride, and some they eat; 72 From cattle they get milk and other benefits. Will they not then give thanks? 73 They chose idols besides God in the hope of receiving help from them, but they will not be able to help them. 74 Instead, the disbelievers will be brought into the presence of God as the soldiers of the idols. 75 So let not their speech grieve thee. Verily We! We know whatsoever they keep secret and whatsoever they make known. 76 Does not man see that We have created him from the small seed? Then lo! he is an open disputant. 77 And [now] he [argues about Us, and] thinks of Us in terms of comparison, and is oblivious of how he himself was created! [And so] he says, "Who could give life to bones that have crumbled to dust?" 78 Say: He will give life to them Who brought them into existence at first, and He is cognizant of all creation 79 He who produces fire for you from green trees and from this you kindle fire." 80 Is not He, Who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the like of them? Yes, indeed! He is the All-Knowing Supreme Creator. 81 His command, when He intends anything, is only to say to it: Be, so it is. 82 So exalted is He in whose hand is the realm of all things, and to Him you will be returned. 83
