The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I swear by (the angels) who stand in ranks, 1 Then those who drive away with reproof, 2 And those who recite the message, 3 Verily, most surely, your God is One 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, and Lord of the easts. 5 Verily! We have adorned the near heaven with the stars (for beauty). 6 and to preserve against every rebel Satan; 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly, and they are darted at from every side. 8 Being driven off, and for them is a perpetual chastisement, 9 But if anyone does succeed in snatching a glimpse [of such knowledge], he shall be pursued by a piercing flame. 10 So, ask those who deny the truth if it was harder to create them than all the other things We have created? We created them from sticky clay. 11 Aye! thou marvellest, and they scoff. 12 and when they are admonished, they pay no heed; 13 And when they see an Ayah (a sign, a proof, or an evidence) from Allah, they mock at it. 14 and say: "This is clearly nothing but [a mortal's] spellbinding eloquence! 15 When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, how can we be raised again, 16 And also our forefathers? 17 Say: "Yea, indeed - and most abject will you then be!" 18 It shall be but one shout, lo! they shall be staring. 19 They will say, "Ah! Woe to us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 “This is the Day of Judgement, which you used to deny!” 21
