The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those who range themselves in ranks, 1 And those who drive [the clouds] 2 And those who recite the message, 3 surely your God is One, 4 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of whatever lies between the two, the Lord of the Easts. 5 Verily We! We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment: the stars. 6 to protect them from the rebellious satan. 7 so they cannot listen to the High Assembly, for they are pelted from every side. 8 Repelled; and for them is a constant punishment, 9 Save him who snatcheth a fragment, and there pursueth him a piercing flame. 10 So ask them for a pronouncement -- Are they stronger in constitution, or those We created? We created them of clinging clay. 11 But you wonder, while they mock, 12 And they do not understand, when explained to. 13 and whenever they see some sign, they ridicule it, 14 And they say, “This is nothing but clear magic.” 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be raised up? 16 What, and our forefathers, the ancients' 17 Proclaim, “Yes, and with disgrace.” 18 There will be a single stern rebuff and lo, they will be observing with their own eyes (all that they had been warned against). 19 They will say: "Woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense!" 20 This is the day of the judgment which you called a lie. 21
