The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the angels ranged in ranks. 1 and the scarers scaring 2 And by oath of the groups that read the Qur’an. 3 that your Lord is the only Lord. 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises. 5 Surely We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment, the stars, 6 and have made them secure against every rebellious, satanic force, 7 so they cannot listen to the High Assembly, for they are pelted from every side. 8 They are rejected and theirs is an everlasting punishment; 9 Except him who snatches off but once, then there follows him a brightly shining flame. 10 Then ask them (i.e. these polytheists, O Muhammad SAW): "Are they stronger as creation, or those (others like the heavens and the earth and the mountains, etc.) whom We have created?" Verily, We created them of a sticky clay. 11 Rather you are surprised, whereas they keep mocking. 12 And when they are reminded, they mind not, 13 And when they behold a sign, they turn to scoffing. 14 And they say: this Qur'an is naught but magic manifest. 15 When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, how can we be raised again, 16 And also our forefathers? 17 Say: Aye! and you shall be abject. 18 So that is just a single jolt, thereupon they will begin staring. 19 They will say, "O woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense." 20 “Yes, this is the Day of Final Decision that you used to deny as a lie.” 21
