The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the rangers ranging 1 by those who reprove severely, 2 and the reciters of a Remembrance, 3 Verily your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all that is between them, and Lord of the sun's risings. 5 Behold, We have adorned the skies nearest to the earth with the beauty of stars, 6 to protect them from the rebellious satan. 7 they listen not to the High Council, for they are pelted from every side, 8 Outcast, and theirs is a constant (or painful) torment. 9 Except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness]. 10 AND NOW ask those [who deny the truth] to enlighten thee: Were they more difficult to create than all those [untold marvels] that We have created? - for, behold, them have We created out of [mere] clay commingled with water! 11 You marvel (at the wondrous creations of Allah) and they scoff at it, 12 When they are reminded, they do not remember. 13 and whenever they see some sign, they ridicule it, 14 and say: “This is nothing but plain sorcery. 15 When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, how can we be raised again, 16 "And also our fathers of old?" 17 Say: 'Yes, but worthless' 18 for that [resurrection which they deride] will be [upon them of a sudden, as if it were] but a single accusing cry - and then, lo! they will begin to see [the truth] 19 And say: Ah, woe for us! This is the Day of Judgment. 20 This is the Day of Decision which you belied. 21
