The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By those who range themselves in rows; 1 And those who restrain by reprimanding, 2 and conveying [to all the world] a reminder: 3 that your Lord is the only Lord. 4 He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Lord of the Eastern regions. 5 Surely We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment, the stars, 6 a protection against every rebel satan; 7 The devils cannot hear those high above. They would be struck from all sides 8 Outcast, and theirs is a perpetual torment; 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 So ask them for a pronouncement -- Are they stronger in constitution, or those We created? We created them of clinging clay. 11 Truly dost thou marvel, while they ridicule, 12 and, when reminded, do not remember 13 And when they behold a sign, they turn to scoffing. 14 and they say, 'This is nothing but manifest sorcery. 15 What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then certainly be raised, 16 Will our forefathers also be brought to life again?" 17 Proclaim, “Yes, and with disgrace.” 18 The Day of Judgment will come within a single roar and they will remain gazing at it. 19 And will say, “O our misfortune!” It will be said to them, “This is the Day of Justice.” 20 This is the Day of Decision which you belied. 21
