The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the angels ranged in ranks. 1 And by oath of those who herd with a stern warning. 2 and by the reciters of the Reminder: 3 Verily, verily, your Allah is one!- 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises. 5 Lo! We have adorned the lowest heaven with an ornament, the planets; 6 and have made them secure against every rebellious, satanic force, 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly, and they are darted at from every side. 8 cast out [from all grace,] with lasting suffering in store for them [in the life to come]; 9 Save him who snatcheth a fragment, and there pursueth him a piercing flame. 10 Then inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Are they a stronger [or more difficult] creation or those [others] We have created?" Indeed, We created men from sticky clay. 11 (Muhammad), you will be surprised that they still mock (God's revelations). 12 And when they are reminded, they remember not. 13 And when they behold a sign, they turn to scoffing. 14 saying, "This is plain sorcery!" 15 Is it ever possible that after we die and are reduced to dust and (a skeleton of) bones, we will be raised to life? 16 “And also our forefathers?” 17 Say thou: and verily ye; shall then be despicable. 18 There will be a single stern rebuff and lo, they will be observing with their own eyes (all that they had been warned against). 19 And say: "Ah woe! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 "(Yes,) this is the Day of Judgement you had called a lie." 21
