The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By those [angels] who range themselves in close ranks 1 And by oath of those who herd with a stern warning. 2 By the angels reciting the praise. 3 Indeed, your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises. 5 Surely We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment, the stars, 6 to protect them from the rebellious satan. 7 They cannot listen to the higher group (angels) for they are pelted from every side. 8 driven away, and will suffer eternal punishment. 9 Save him who snatcheth a fragment, and there pursueth him a piercing flame. 10 Then ask them whether they are stronger in creation or those (others) whom We have created. Surely We created them of firm clay. 11 Nay, thou marvellest; and they scoff 12 They pay no attention when they are reminded 13 And whenever they see a sign, they mock at it. 14 and say: "This is clearly nothing but [a mortal's] spellbinding eloquence! 15 When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, how can we be raised again, 16 Will our forefathers also be brought to life again?" 17 Say, "Yes indeed, and you will be brought low." 18 It will be but one Shout, then see, they are watching 19 They will say, "Woe to us! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 “Yes, this is the Day of Final Decision that you used to deny as a lie.” 21
