3/4 Hizb 45

And Nuh did certainly call upon Us, and most excellent answerer of prayer are We. 75 We saved him and his people from great distress, 76 and We made his offspring the only survivors. 77 And left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations to come in later times: 78 Salamun (peace) be upon Nuh (Noah) (from Us) among the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)!" 79 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 80 he was among Our believing servants. 81 We drowned all the others (besides Noah and his people). 82 ۞ And lo! of his persuasion verily was Abraham 83 when he turned to his Sustainer with a heart free of evil, 84 [And] when he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship? 85 Do you want [to bow down before] a lie - [before] deities other than God? 86 What do you think of the Lord of the whole Universe?” 87 Then he cast a glance at the stars (to deceive them), 88 Then he said: Surely I am sick (of your worshipping these). 89 so they turned their backs on him and went off. 90 He turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat? 91 What aileth ye that ye speak not? 92 Then did he turn upon them, striking (them) with the right hand. 93 [But] then the others came towards him hurriedly [and accused him of his deed]. 94 Abraham said to them: “Do you worship what you yourselves have carved with your own hands 95 "When God has created you and what you make?" 96 They said, "Build him a furnace, and throw him into the blazing fire!" 97 But whereas they sought to do evil unto him, We [frustrated their designs, and thus] brought them low? 98 And he said: verily I am going to my Lord who will guide me. 99 My Lord! Bestow on me a son who will be of the righteous. 100 So We gave him the good news of a boy ready to suffer and forbear. 101 And when he reached the age when he could work with him, he said, "O my son, I have seen in a dream that I am sacrificing you. So tell me what you think of it!" He replied, "O my father, do as you are commanded; and God willing, you will find me steadfast." 102 Then (remember) when they both submitted to Allah’s command, and Ibrahim lay his son facing downwards. (The knife did not hurt Ismail) 103 And We called out to him: "O Abraham! 104 "Thou hast already fulfilled the vision!" - thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 105 It was certainly an open trial. 106 We ransomed his son with a great sacrifice 107 And We perpetuated (praise) to him among the later generations. 108 Peace be on Abraham. 109 This is how We reward the virtuous. 110 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 111 Then We gave him the good tidings of Isaac, a Prophet, one of the righteous. 112 We blessed him and Isaac: but of their progeny are (some) that do right, and (some) that obviously do wrong, to their own souls. 113
