3/4 Hizb 45

And indeed Nuh (Noah) invoked Us, and We are the Best of those who answer (the request). 75 And We rescued him and his family from the great distress (i.e. drowning), 76 and made his offspring the only ones to survive, 77 We perpetuated his praise in later generations. 78 Peace be with Noah among all men in the worlds. 79 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 80 Surely he was among Our faithful creatures. 81 Afterwards We drowned the others. 82 ۞ Of his party was Abraham. 83 When he came to his Lord with a sound heart 84 When he said to his father and his people: "What is this you worship? 85 Why do you solicit false gods instead of God? 86 Then what is your thought about the Lord of the worlds?" 87 Then he looked carefully at the stars 88 and said: 'Surely, I am sick (of what you worship)' 89 So they departed from him turning their backs. 90 Then turned he to their gods and said: Will ye not eat? 91 What is the matter with you that you do not speak?" 92 And he turned upon them striking them with the right hand. 93 So the disbelievers came running towards him. 94 He said: "Worship ye that which ye have (yourselves) carved? 95 when it is Allah who created you and all that you do' 96 They said, 'Build him a building, and cast him into the furnace!' 97 (This failing), they then sought a stratagem against him, but We made them the ones most humiliated! 98 He said: "I will go to my Lord! He will surely guide me! 99 Abraham prayed, "Lord, grant me a righteous son". 100 We gave him the glad news of the birth of a forbearing son. 101 and when he had reached the age of running with him, he said, 'My son, I see in a dream that I shall sacrifice thee; consider, what thinkest thou?' He said, 'My father, do as thou art bidden; thou shalt find me, God willing, one of the steadfast.' 102 Then, when they had both surrendered (to Allah), and he had flung him down upon his face, 103 We called out: "O Abraham, 104 thou hast already fulfilled [the purpose of] that dream-vision!" Thus, verily, do We reward the doers of good: 105 Indeed this was a clear test. 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, 107 and left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 108 "Peace upon Abraham." 109 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 110 He was one of Our believing servants. 111 And we gave him tidings of the birth of Isaac, a prophet of the righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. Among their descendants are some who do good, but some who wrong themselves. 113

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
