And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
