We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
